Welcome to Painted Petal Promises, where you can preserve your wedding bouquet in a bespoke piece of artwork to treasure forever.

Every painting is unique and therefore I offer a free consultation to create a shared vision for your artwork. Whether you prefer the delicacy of watercolour, dreamy blended pastels or richly layered acrylics, we will work closely to create your painted petals that reflect your special day.

Transforming your once-in-a-lifetime floral arrangement into a piece of fine art is the perfect way to preserve your everlasting promises. The artwork can be commissioned as part of the wedding planning process, something to add to your gift registry or a sentimental anniversary present - the first year is paper, after all! Gift vouchers are available from £20, allowing guests to collectively contribute to your special heirloom.

All I need is a photo of your bouquet to create your bespoke piece of art. Paintings are framed using shatterproof acrylic, rather than glass and frame choice can be decided once the painting is completed to give the finishing touch to your bespoke piece of art.

Pastel

Pastel pencils and soft pastels bring your vision to life, offering the versatility to create artworks that are either delicately blended and subtle or bold and contemporary.

Acrylic

Acrylic paints are carefully layered to create textured, vibrant artwork, enhanced by a base color of your choice.

I offer a wide variety of canvas sizes and shapes, including unique options like circular canvases. Feel free to reach out with your ideas, and I’ll be happy to provide a quote based on your request.

For reference, a 30 x 40 cm box canvas is priced at £100.

How does the process work?

Firstly, have a browse through my portfolio for inspiration of which style you prefer. Is one more suited to your home decor? Would your flowers look better in a certain style?

In our free consultation we will discuss your options and you can share any special details about your flowers.

Email me a selection of good quality photos and we can work together to choose the final design.

On receipt of a 30% deposit, I will begin the painting and keep you updated with progress pictures to check you are happy with how it's coming along!

The completed picture can be collected, delivered in the local area, or posted. I am based in Stockton-on-Tees, UK.

How long does it take to complete a custom piece?

The time to complete a custom piece varies based on complexity and size. Typically, it takes between 2 to 4 weeks.

Can I chose a size and background colour?

Yes, all these details are discussed at the planning stage. Watercolour and pastel would generally be a minumum size of approx 30x30 or 30x40cm. Acrylics can start from 20x30cm.

Can the picture come in a frame?

Yes, various styles of frame are available, all using shatterproof acrylic. Watercolour paintings can also be rolled, unframed and posted in a tube.

Canvases do not need mounting but you may want it recessed into a box frame.

All framing options will be discussed to suit your painting and style.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Yes, starting from £20. They can be posted to guests, or directly to the bride or groom. They are a great addition to any gift registry!

Do I need to reserve a date?

Not unless the painting is needed for a particular date. However, you may wish to pay your 30% deposit to reserve a slot during the summer wedding season.

Is postage included?

Postage and packing is an additional cost and varies, depending on the service you use. Delivery is free within a 5 mile radius of TS21 and may be possible a little further at a small additional cost. Collection is also available form either TS21, or at any wedding fair I am attending.

Are paintings only available of the bouquet?

No, any floral arrangement can be turned into a painting eg buttonhole hole, floral arch, pew flowers etc

It is also possible to have 2 bouquets on one picture, or a bouquet with the buttonhole to the side.
